The Safe Ride Hotline is an initiative that provides safe, supportive, and accessible transport for trans people going to and coming from medical appointments in the Netherlands. 

Many trans people feel vulnerable coming to and leaving healthcare appointments, because they can be physically and emotionally demanding, and public transport unfortunately often is not the safest way to travel for women and queer people.

Safe Ride Hotline organizes trusted volunteers that offer rides to replace public transport, and brings them in touch with the person needing a ride.
